Guardians are freelancers, creators, storytellers, moms & dads, learners, and purpose-driven professionals who use their creativity to protect what matters and imagine whats possible. With m.i.a. we give you the tools, community, and opportunities to turn your work into a force for good.
To make it in the Anthropocene, we need Guardians. In the Anthropocene, our creativity matters more than ever. Our ability to adapt matters more than ever.
A Guardian is someone who protects, preserves, and watches over something valuable - whether it’s people, places, ideas, futures, or our only known home…
m.i.a. Guardians stand up for what they know to be true. We know these are uncharted times. We know that we must use our creativity to safeguard a better future. We know sacrifices are going to be made. Guided by values, we align our work with meaning and impact, doing all we can to actively help shape life in the Anthropocene instead of merely reacting to it.
To make it in the Anthropocene, we have to change how we navigate the world, our work, what it means to make a living, and what it means to truly support one another’s meaningful, impactful work.
m.i.a.’s Guardians are guardians of Earth, one another, our ecosystems, and for future generations.

Can we leverage AI for good? Lord knows it will be leveraged for crap. So lets at least try, being mindful of our footprint and maybe our future overlords will be kind to us at judgement time.
